Well done to Team Claremont who competed in the Newman Churchlands Live Lighter Carnival on Sunday 16th Feb. A healthy contingent of 20 swimmers swam their little hearts out and after a very tight points race against Maida Vale, emerged the overall winner by a mere 8 points.

Thank you to Newman Churchlands club for a well run Carnival and a really impressive lunch afterwards! (jenny Williams was about to expire from hunger and was heard to say that it was the BEST sausage she's ever tasted!)

Great swimming by Team Claremont, ably led by Captain Sally Bell. Special mentions for:
Peter Chong - just back from a lengthy absence due to illness and swimming well.
Jenny Williams - very happy with her times on the day.
Anthony Blake - PB for the 200 Free
Roger Taylor - First pool race meet for a while, and showing the Albion boys how it's done.

And finally, our swimmer of the meet: Anna Eisenhauer, showing blistering form in the 50 Fly (33.27) and 100 Fly (1:16.68), both of which are VERY close to lifetime PB's!
